SACRARIO AI CADUTI
Typical work, of space structured with shade, by the master Giuseppe Uncini, realized in 1986 in tuff stone and lava stone, to a height of. 10.00m, a width of 7.00m, and a thickness of 75cm and with a symbolic shadow of about 20.00m. The work is dedicated to all the dead of Gibellina, including those who died in the earthquake, and symbolically represents a large door, half open towards the afterlife, through which the dead have passed to enter into an unknown world.
