RUDERI DEL CASTELLO
Built as a tower, presumably before the arrival of the Arabs, in the XIV century it was a fortalice with one square tower and two smaller rounded towers. In the XV and XVI centuries it belonged to the Paruta family who put their own coat of arms on the main rounded arched door which opened on the western side of the castle: the joining of the square towers with the smaller ones, through large rooms and the addition of a quadrangular wall, which closes off a large internal courtyard.
After the collapse following the earthquake of 1968, only the ruins and the base of the square tower remain.
