The Public Library dedicated to Salvatore Corleo (1823-1891) was founded with the patrimony of the library of Sant’Agostino monastery, and was opened to the public in 1866: its volumes are rich in quantity and, it has a patrimony of about 100.000 works and collects various funds and “cinquecentine” (books printed in the XVI century).
