PANI DI SAN GIUSEPPE

During the festivities for Saint Joseph, the people of Salemi show their devotion towards the saint.
With the making of characteristic altars, Cene di San Giuseppe, decorated with loaves of bread artistically shaped by the women of the town, making symbolic shapes alluding to the wonders of creation and Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
