Seminary of the Chierici (Clerics)

A building of great architectural value, it was built at the beginning of the XVIII century and was enlarged on the plans of the architect Giovanni Biagio Amico from Trapani in 1744. It occupies the whole southern side of the square with an elegant and expansive style façade of classic inspiration with double loggia formed by eleven double arches, supported by robust pillars with pilasters, and concludes with a picturesque balustrade. The internal spaces are situated around a courtyard with porticoes with sixteen arches leaning on twenty columns in limestone; In the courtyard there is a graceful doorway. The first floor also holds a chapel
