What remains of the church is a magnificent example of a Gothic-Catalan church with a nave and two side aisles, separated by two lengths of columns with pointed arches: It is uncovered, only one length of columns is still standing plus a few chapels. Presumed to be fourteenth century, linked to the presence of the Padri Carmelitani in Alcamo, it underwent a lot of reshaping, enlargements, and modifications, above all in the XVI e XVII centuries, until its collapse at the end of the XIX century.
The late-renaissance cloister of the ex-convent, with a double line of columns, made by the architect Francesco Lo Mastro (first half of XVII century) is interesting.
