TEATRO CAVALLOTTI
The theatre was founded in 1881 on the initiative of the eminent town citizen Sir Nicolò Rindello, who was a patriot, a painter and also held the position the town councillor.
The inside of the theatre, which has two rows of boxes, in the gods and in the stalls, has undergone various restructuring, restoration and has been adapted for cinema projections. Named after Felice Cavallotti, scholar, journalist, member of parliament, who lived from 1842 to 1898, in the past when the theatre was functioning, it was much appreciated by the Calatafimi public who have always been passionate about theatre.
