LITORALE BISCIONE

The ancient maritime village is today a holiday destination well known for its crystalline sea and the warm water which attracts many bathers. In the Biscione coast there are many possibilities for scuba diving, with descents from 10 to 60 metres in depth. The zone is characterised by strong currents and it is advised to scuba dive with robust buoys and using a support boat. Thanks to the currents, the sea is populated by many kinds of fish, and in the period from April to June, when the tuna fish pass through it is possible to admire dolphins or a few turtles Caretta caretta laying their eggs on the sand in front of the equipped beach.
