PALAZZO LUCATELLI
Built in 1455 to be used as a hospital and renovated in the 16th century and enlarged in 1628 with the additions of an extra floor. These works have given the building a Spanish Baroque style, realized thanks to a grant given by Captain Lazzaro Lucatelli (or Locadelli). In a niche, his bust is placed between the spirals of the tympanum above the balcony. Other works of enlargement and embellishment were carried out by the architect Giovan Biagio Amico, in 1748, and by Paolo Rizzo and Vincenzo Liotta dating back to 1758.
